This yoga mat is made of cork, a natural material. The mat is 4mm thick, providing excellent cushioning while taking up minimal space. Its rubber backing prevents the mat from shifting during practice. The top layer is made of cork and the natural, renewable bark of the cork tree. The cork tree is harvested every nine years, creating a naturally impermeable, water-repellent, and durable surface for the yoga mat.
The cork yoga mat is known for its antimicrobial properties, meaning it's self-cleaning and prevents the growth of mold, bacteria, and odors. Even when wet, the mat maintains excellent grip. Maintenance instructions
We recommend not scrubbing the mat too often, as this can damage the surface. The cork yoga mat has self-cleaning properties. This means it's antibacterial, rot-resistant, and perfectly absorbs sweat and odor. If odors do remain, we recommend wiping the mat with a damp cloth and then air-drying it. Allow the mat to air-dry before storing, as this can damage the mat.
Caution! Do not use harsh chemicals and do not put the mat in the washing machine or dryer! This can damage the mat.
