This STOTT PILATES® reformer manual is designed for experienced practitioners and describes every advanced-level exercise step by step. Each exercise is illustrated with a detailed photo showing the starting position and subsequent movements. The focus in this Advanced Reformer manual is on muscle development, mobility versus stability, and possible variations. The manual contains 128 exercises and 112 variations that increase or decrease the challenge of each exercise. Exercises with reformer accessories, such as the foot bar, reformer loop straps, footstrap and sitting box, are also included in the manual.
The reformer manual contains 230 pages laminated with sustainably sourced Mylar Matte Lamination. The pages are printed with vegetable-based inks containing low VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds). The manual is also printed on FSC-certified paper (Forest Stewardship Council). This is an international non-profit organization dedicated to forest conservation and management. The pages are uncoated, allowing for annotation. Furthermore, the reformer manual is bound, making it easy to write on the pages.
