What is a Pilates ring?
A Pilates ring is made of flexible metal or rubber and has one or two handles on each side. You can do a variety of exercises with this ring. A Pilates ring has a standard diameter of 36 cm. The handles on both sides are made of soft foam, making the ring easy and comfortable to hold. Some rings have two handles on each side instead of one. With these rings, you can do even more exercises, adding even more variety, resistance, and endurance to your workout.
What can you do with it?
By applying pressure to the Pilates ring, you create resistance. This allows you to train different muscles deeply and specifically. It's not called the "Magic Circle" for nothing!
The Pilates ring is particularly effective for targeting problem areas, such as your inner and outer thighs, upper arms, chest, and even your pelvic floor muscles. How? Slowly press the sides of the ring together with your arms or legs. Focus on your breathing and feel the burn in your muscles. You can also use the ring for stretching exercises. The possibilities are endless!

What are the differences?
The metal ring has a classic design, is slightly heavier, and therefore offers more resistance. We recommend this ring if you are experienced in Pilates. The rubber ring is smoother to use and offers a bit more comfort. Perfect if you're still a little unsure about your movements.
The standard size of the Pilates ring is 36 cm. It's also available in smaller versions with diameters of 32 cm and 30 cm. These are more suitable for those with a more slender or shorter build. Feel free to send us a message if you're unsure which ring is best for you.
